Ok so i'm taking AS Media Studies and my breif is to:

Sounds very fun yes? I've always had a love for thrillers.. but then that was when I had the idea. ZOMBIE MOVIES ARE THRILLERS : DDDDD
So here I am. I need actors, I need make up, I need a storyline, a plot, effects, software, ideas and most importantly; zombies!

So I need to get researching. I have watched a number of zombie films but will probably have to rewatch some. So on my list here are:

Dawn of the Dead (1978)
Night of the Living Dead (1968)
Return of the Living Dead (1985)
28 Weeks Later (2007)
Dawn of the Dead (2004)

Also interestingly there is a wikipedia page on them, not that I intend to watch them all. [link]

Also I have just brought 'Left 4 Dead' which is an AMAZING zombie survivor first person shooter game for PC
Most enjoyable! And it has education value as you can listen to how they made important choices in how they made the game (which in it's own right is like a film).

Asuming that there are (usally) 4 or 6 survivers (prone to being eaten as the film goes on) I will need some actors, or actors that won't actually be acting, but predenting to be actors.. not acting. [trans: I only need their photos]

Make-up I think is the biggest issue, because it will mean people having to spend alot of time looking like something strange (i.e a zombie). I suppose photoshop can be used to an extent..


If anybody is aware, the youtube comunity tryed to make a zombie movie over the internet. I felt special because, even though, i didn't help to create it, I did see papperlilllies video when it was first broadcasted on her channel ^^
